BarryM Series - BarryM Gelly Hi Shine Greenberry

Hi Lovelies

I hope you have had a great Easter Bank Holiday and over indulged on Easter Eggs!

Todays post is another gorgeous BarryM Nail Polish, this one is part of the Gelly Hi Shine collection. Not only is the colour a gorgeous Turquoise with a very shiney finish but its colourful and bright, making it a perfect Spring/Summer Mani!

This took two coats to get a perfect finish, didn't streak and dried quickly. I havent used a Top Coat and 4 days later I have no chipping, thats right NO chipping after 4 days! I am so glad I picked up this colour, I know it will be a popular choice for me this coming Summer.

You can buy from the BarryM website and Boots and Superdrug Stores and their websites.

2true Glitteratti Nail Polish Shade 1 and Shade 3

Hi Lovelies

I hope you are all well? It's snowing again here. I actually love Snow but I want some warm sunshine now, after all, it is nearly April and its Spring so why do we have January's weather?

I have bought another product after reading Gemma's (Miss Makeup Magpies) tweets/blog!
It is the 2true Cosmetics Glitteratti Nail Polish called Shade 3, I also bought Shade 1(you cannot just buy one!)
Shade 3 is a dark blue chunky glitter and shade 1 is a light blue chunky glitter. Both look stunning and took 2-3 coats.
It's quite thick so feels kind of Gel like when you apply it, personally I prefer it like that because I think it gives a smoother finish rather than a thin layer of polish with chunky glitter sat in it. ( I hope that makes sense?) :)
Gemma described it as being like a Mermaids tail and I couldn't agree more. It really is beautiful.
Sadly, my photos do not do it justice! I used both shades on alternate nails and the middle nail has shade 3 with shade 1 dabbed on the lower half.

You can buy 2true Cosmetics from Superdrug in store and online for £1.99 or 3 for £4.99. I know amazing prices, right?

28 Days of MUA - Day 26

Hi Lovelies

It's almost the middle of the working/school week, thank god!

Today's product is the New MUA Matte Perfect Foundation-Shine Control in Fair

I have very pale skin so I ordered this in Fair, when they had their 50% off sale. When I first swatched it on my arm I was a bit disappointed because it looked orange! I took a picture and then blended it in, I was very pleased to see it blended very well and paled down to blend in with my skin :)
I have been using it for a week since my Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse ran out and I have to say I really like it. I don't have oily skin but can sometimes get a bit of shine in the usual T-Zone area. I like Matte foundations as I find they help control and also I find it stays put all day.
I always use it 5 minutes after applying moisturiser and finish with a little powder to set. So far it has been very good! No shine and lasts all day.

Have you used any of the MUA Foundations?

28 Days of MUA - Day 25

Hi Lovelies.

It's almost March, let's hope for some Spring Sunshine instead of all this Cold and Snow!

Today's product is the MUA 3 in 1 eXtreme Contour Liner in Black.

This is great if you are a fan if Smokey Eyes! It's an angled shadow liner that allows you to create three different looks.

My Picture from left to right shows

Ultra Chic (First Line) which is achieved using the tip of the nib to define the eyes.

Glamorous (Second Line) for smokey eyes using the mid part of the nib to create a soft and sultry effect.

Dramatic (Third Line) you use the widest part of the nib to create big and bold smokey eyes.

The fourth line in my pic is just showing how dramatic you can get it by using the widest part of the nib(third line) and going over it again. It builds up really well.

I don't use this as a normal eyeliner as I'm a gel/liquid eyeliner pen/pot type of girl. This I use to smudge under my eye, apply a liner after applying eyelashes or to create smokey eyes. It really is an amazing product and so easy to use.

Have you used this Contour Liner?

28 Days of MUA - Day 23

I hope you have a great Saturday. I am off to introduce my darling little puppy to my Family.

Today's product is another Nail Polish Shade No.18

This is a pale Pink colour that is a dupe for I think in Pink by OPI and could also be used for French Manicures

I love Pink Nail Polishes, which I am sure the more I post, will become pretty obvious.
The picture isn't the best and I broke a Nail :(
The finish is so smooth and it looks so much better in real life.

As I said in my All Bare MUA Polish review, I love Nude Manis and this one is perfect. It looks so simple yet Elegent!
The best thing about it was that the brush is really good. This brush for this Polish is white(the others I reviewed were Black) Its soft and fans out wide enough to create a perfect finish. Im finally happy!

28 Days of MUA - Day 24

Hi Lovelies

I hope you have had a great weekend!
I've been busy planning a Baby Shower today. It's on Friday and I'm also making the cake so this week will be quite busy for me.

Today's product is the MUA Blusher in Shade 1.
This is a gorgeous pink, it's well pigmented and blends really well. It was one of the first items I bought from MUA, a couple of years ago and I have actually just started my second. I know I will more than likely end up buying a third, once I have used this one because I really love it that much!

Have you used this Blusher, what are your thoughts?

28 Days of MUA - Day 18

Hi Lovelies

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. I picked up my puppy yesterday. He Is a Beagle and we have called him Buckley. Such a cutie!! :) check out his pic, all snuggled up with his Bone Pillow we bought him.

Today's product Is the MUA Mosaic Blusher.

I love this blusher! It's a Mosaic of Pinks, Purples and bronzers that give a beautiful pop of colour to the apples of your cheeks and the great thing Is that It contains shimmer that highlights your cheek bones at the same time. I love the subtle glow you get as well as colour to your face, I use a medium sized powder brush to apply because I prefer to just wear it on my cheeks and find I can control where It goes better than If I use a big blush brush. Even though It has got shimmer and bronzing shades In It It Is a blush and you don't want blusher from your eye to your jaw line :)

28 Days of MUA - Day 16

Hi Lovelies

How are you all today? I hope you enjoy your weekend :)

Todays product is the MUA Poptastic Palette

This palette is so colourful and fun. It reminds me of the Sleek Acid palette, there are 12 bright coloured eyeshadows 4 shades of Blue, 2 Pinks, 2 Greens, 2 Purples, 1 Yellow and a Gold. This palette is perfect for creating a fun and colourful look for nights out, especially in the Summer. It also makes me think of denim and crimped hair :)

Do you like fun, bright eyeshadows?

28 Days of MUA - Day 15

Hi Lovelies

It's Friday at last :) any plans for the weekend?

Today's product is the Lip Liner Brooding Plum.

This one is quite deceiving. The pencil looks a deep red/plum colour but when you apply it its more Cerise. Still very beautiful though and is just as creamy and pigmented as the other Liners I have from the range.

28 Days of MUA - Day 14

Hi Lovelies

Happy Valentines Day! Will you be celebrating Valentines or celebrating being single with your mates? Either way I hope you have a great day xoxo

Today's product is another MUA Lip Liner Pink Me Up

I think this is my favourite of all the MUA Lip Liners. It's a stunning, slightly sparkly, Hot Pink. (Swatch shows up a coral/red shade on the picture but its actually a hot pink) As with the other two I have reviewed its creamy and very pigmented. With a sharpener in the lid. Another great quality for your money product from MUA!

This is a pretty light Pink colour with a slight shimmer too it. It's creamy and looks lovely with Pale Pink Lipsticks. There is a handy sharpener in the lid so you don't need to worry about packing one in your makeup bag!

28 Days of MUA -Day 10

Hi Lovelies

I hope you have had a great weekend? I had a busy one, spent with my family and friends, celebrating Birthday's and catching up!

Today's product is the Undressed Palette.

This is a cheap dupe for the Naked Palette. It contains 12 beautiful nude and metallic eyeshadows. Shades 2, 6, 10, 11 and 12 are my my personal faves. Each one is well pigmented and applies well without too much fall out. Especially Shade 6, the shimmering gold colour. I was expecting to end up with sparkly gold lower lashes but was pleasantly surprised when there was no mess!

This is a fantastic quality palette that doesn't break the bank.

What do you think of the Undressed Palette?

28 Days of MUA - Day 9

Hi Lovelies.

Enjoying your Saturday? I have my friends little boy' birthday party and my sister' birthday dinner to attend today, which means lots of yummy triangle sandwiches and cake! :)

Today's product is the Brunette Eyebrow Pencil.

It's a long pencil with a comb on the end for tidying your eyebrows with. It's dark brown, creamy and applies easily. I find it stays put for ages and I struggled to wash it off. i could still see a tint of it to my eyebrows the next day. So thumbs up for staying power. Amazing quality for such a small price.

Are you a pencil or wax/powder eyebrow kit kind of person?

28 Days of MUA-Day 8

Hi Lovelies

It's Friday! Bring on the lie-ins, reading, tv, shopping, eating out and catching up with family and friends! I hope you all have a great weekend :)

Today's MUA product is another Single Eyeshadow - Shade 18 - Matte

Another great Eyeshadow from MUA, fantastic quality and applies beautifully.

This pretty purple is one of my favourite from the range. I like to wear either a pearl lilac on the lid with this Purple in the crease or the Purple on the lid with a charcoal in the crease. Every makeup bag should have an MUA Eyeshadow or two in it.

What are your favourite eyeshadow colours?

28 Days of MUA-Day 7

Hi Lovelies

A whole week of MUA done already. How fast has that gone? I hope you are all well and enjoying your week so far.

Today's post is about the MUA Fairy Dust Nails in Purple Mist.

This is stunning and I finally have an MUA Nail Polish that has a good brush and applies like a dream. Yay!
The colour, a Lavender with sparkle(fairy dust) is one of the prettiest Glitter Polishes I have come across in a while! You also only apply one coat. Yes one coat and you have a stunning sparkly manicure!
I cannot wait to try out some other colours in this range.

Have you tried the One Coat Polishes from MUA?

28 Days of MUA Day 6

Hi Lovelies,

How are you liking the MUA posts? Thank you for taking time out of your day to read my blog, it means a lot. I know I'm not a well known blog and I don't have lots of vlogs and other exciting posts but I love blogging and have been doing it for just 3 weeks. I'm learning along the way and trying to teach myself Blogger layouts etc... So if you notice anything not working, that looks wrong or out of place don't be shy and let me know what you think I could do to improve. I don't bite, I promise :)

Anyway, on to MUA Day 6! This is going to be about the Kiss Proof Lip stain in Colour

I have a love hate relationship with Lipstains, while I appreciate its only supposed to stain your lip and is not a balm but why do they have to be so drying? I have tried a few Chemist brands and they all pretty much suck the moisture from my lips. The MUA Lip Stain is no different, I think the Colour is nice, it doesn't smell, was a little hard to get any product out at first but other than that it does what it says on the tin-Stains your Lips a pretty Pink. I just wish it was a bit more moisturizing so I would be able to use it more! If I ever decide to get another colour I would definately buy the MUA Lip Stains over another brand because its just the same but so much cheaper.

Do you like Lip Stains, If so which brand is your favourite?

28 Days of MUA - Day 5

Hi Lovelies

I hope you are all well?

Today's MUA product is one of their single Eye shadows. It's a Pearl in Shade 10

The first time I used this I was quite surprised with how well pigmented it was. There is a lot of glitter so when applying to your lid you get fall out under the eye. I would advise you use this before applying your foundation or use a guard/hold a tissue underneath during application.  The colour is a stunning smokey Charcoal/Purple. I love dark Eye shadows and tend to buy Blacks, Charcoals and Chocolate Browns so this Purply Charcoal colour is a nice change for me. I love wearing this in the crease with either a light Purple or a black on the lid. I only use a little blush in a pale Apricot shade and a light pink/peach lipstick as I think with a smokey eye using dark colours can look a bit too much with lots of colour on your face and lips.

What do you think of the MUA Single Eye shadows?

28 Days of MUA - Day 4

Hi Lovelies

I have been putting together all of my products I have hauled this past week. So look out for the post on Wednesday! I hope your Monday isn't going too slow? I know most people suffer the Monday Blues and spend their morning wishing they were back in bed or doing something other than Work/school/College!

Today's MUA product is their Sheer Finish Lip gloss called Just Incase, it's a pretty Pink with a little gold shimmer. I really love this lip gloss. Not only is it a lovely subtle colour but it feels and smells amazing. My lips feel moisturised and there isn't that horrible stickiness to it that attracts the end of your hair the moment you apply. Nothing worse than having to constantly un-stick your hair from your face when you are out!

What is your favourite Lip gloss?

28 Days of MUA - Day 3

Hi Lovelies.

How is your weekend going? I have had a very lazy Sunday so far today. I love nothing more than a lie in followed by coffee and reading blogs or a book before doing anything else.
Today is Day 3 of 28 Days of MUA!
After yesterday's post of Love U 24/7 and the trouble I had with the brush I decided to get this second colour I have from the range out of the way.

This is an Orange coloured polish called I Want U.
Again the brush is very stiff so it doesn't apply very well but it didn't split like the brush for Love U 24/7 did. The polish itself dried too quickly and add to that the stiff bristles made for a very streaky and lumpy application and finish. I really didn't enjoy using this polish and will not use this colour again. Not only was it hard to apply and the finish very bad but the colour I didn't like either. I personally prefer slightly lighter oranges. The only good thing I can say about this polish is that it was a free gift with one of my orders towards the end of last year. So it hasn't cost me anything to try!

Do you have a favourite MUA polish? Let me know in the comments :)

NOTD-China Glaze Jet Stream Nail Lacquer

Hi Lovelies

My NOTD is China Glaze Jet Stream, its a gorgeous dusty pink with a slight shimmer to it. It applied beautiful and was touch dry in a couple of minutes. A perfect colour for Valentines manicures :)

I bought it from the Beauty Chamber Sale. They are an online Cosmetics retailer.

What is your favourite Pink Polish?
