28 Days of MUA - Day 28

Hi Lovelies

It's the final day in my 28 Days of MUA series. I have really enjoyed featuring a different product each day and will hopefully do a review on some of the products mentioned.

The final product is my favourite MUA product in my collection. It's actually my second as the first was trodden on when I dropped it just before christmas :(

It's a beautiful bold Green single Eyeshadow in Shade 6 (pearl)
Its well pigmented and blends easily.
I like to team it with a glittery gold for evening wear. The gold on the lid with a bit of the green blended into the crease with a slick of liquid eyeliner. I also wear a little of the Green smudged under the eye with an Ivory shadow on the lid with eyeliner for a bit of colour but keeping it fairly simply for daytime.
If you don't have this eyeshadow, I think you should! :)

28 Days of MUA - Day 25

Hi Lovelies.

It's almost March, let's hope for some Spring Sunshine instead of all this Cold and Snow!

Today's product is the MUA 3 in 1 eXtreme Contour Liner in Black.

This is great if you are a fan if Smokey Eyes! It's an angled shadow liner that allows you to create three different looks.

My Picture from left to right shows

Ultra Chic (First Line) which is achieved using the tip of the nib to define the eyes.

Glamorous (Second Line) for smokey eyes using the mid part of the nib to create a soft and sultry effect.

Dramatic (Third Line) you use the widest part of the nib to create big and bold smokey eyes.

The fourth line in my pic is just showing how dramatic you can get it by using the widest part of the nib(third line) and going over it again. It builds up really well.

I don't use this as a normal eyeliner as I'm a gel/liquid eyeliner pen/pot type of girl. This I use to smudge under my eye, apply a liner after applying eyelashes or to create smokey eyes. It really is an amazing product and so easy to use.

Have you used this Contour Liner?

28 Days of MUA - Day 22

Hi Lovelies

It's Friday! Have you anything exciting planned for the weekend? I hope It's a sunny one!

Today's product Is the Pro Fixing Mist.

I have only ever used the Elf version of this which a lot of people said was a cheaper alternative to the Mac Fix+, I havent used the Mac so cannot say if this is true or not.

I love the Elf, I spritz my face and stipple It In lightly with a stippling brush and It leaves me with a lovely radiant finish that lasts most of the day. I am pleased to say that the MUA Pro Fixing Mist Is just as good. I love how smooth and perfect a finish you get after adding a spritz of this Fixing Mist to your makeup.

It claims "protects against heat, humidity, cold and windy conditions; whatever your day throws at you - your makeup will hold In place."

I haven't been out In the heat as its Winter or In the  rain but the wind I have braved and my Makeup was still perfect. I think to really see If the above Is true you would need to trial It at different points of the year to really know If It does exactly as It says. So far so good though :)

The Elf Fix and Set Mist is a little over £1 cheaper than this product and they are basically the same thing. So I think once I finish the MUA I would still by the Elf (unless I was making an order at MUA and needed nothing else from Elf, no point paying two lots of postage to save £1.It wouldn't actually work out cheaper doing that!).

Hi Lovelies

My Puppy is being a bit naughty today, keeps trying to chew the ankle hem of my trousers! I give him a chew toy to distract him and teach him what he can chew but 5 mins later he is back. Its going to be a long day :)

Today's product is the MUA Lipstick in Shade 5

Its a Beautiful Pale Pink, well pigmented and very moisturising. Which, Is all I want from a Lipstick and the fact that Its so cheap makes It perfect for me :)

28 Days of MUA - Day 24

Hi Lovelies

I hope you have had a great weekend!
I've been busy planning a Baby Shower today. It's on Friday and I'm also making the cake so this week will be quite busy for me.

Today's product is the MUA Blusher in Shade 1.
This is a gorgeous pink, it's well pigmented and blends really well. It was one of the first items I bought from MUA, a couple of years ago and I have actually just started my second. I know I will more than likely end up buying a third, once I have used this one because I really love it that much!

Have you used this Blusher, what are your thoughts?

28 Days of MUA - Day 12

Hi Lovelies

How are you today? It's Pancake Day :), is this a tradition you take part in? Are you a Lemon and Sugar or Fruit and Chocolate lover?

Today's Product is the MUA Lip Liner Red Drama.

I am a big fan of the MUA Lip Liners,
they are creamy and apply easily and are very pigmented. All come with a sharpener in the lid.

The colour goes well with most of my Red Lipsticks and is great quality for money. Next time you are out pick one up and see for yourself!

Do you wear Lip Liner with your Lipstick?

28 Days of MUA-Day 8

Hi Lovelies

It's Friday! Bring on the lie-ins, reading, tv, shopping, eating out and catching up with family and friends! I hope you all have a great weekend :)

Today's MUA product is another Single Eyeshadow - Shade 18 - Matte

Another great Eyeshadow from MUA, fantastic quality and applies beautifully.

This pretty purple is one of my favourite from the range. I like to wear either a pearl lilac on the lid with this Purple in the crease or the Purple on the lid with a charcoal in the crease. Every makeup bag should have an MUA Eyeshadow or two in it.

What are your favourite eyeshadow colours?

28 Days of MUA - Day 4

Hi Lovelies

I have been putting together all of my products I have hauled this past week. So look out for the post on Wednesday! I hope your Monday isn't going too slow? I know most people suffer the Monday Blues and spend their morning wishing they were back in bed or doing something other than Work/school/College!

Today's MUA product is their Sheer Finish Lip gloss called Just Incase, it's a pretty Pink with a little gold shimmer. I really love this lip gloss. Not only is it a lovely subtle colour but it feels and smells amazing. My lips feel moisturised and there isn't that horrible stickiness to it that attracts the end of your hair the moment you apply. Nothing worse than having to constantly un-stick your hair from your face when you are out!

What is your favourite Lip gloss?

Gosh Shocking Coral Velvet Touch Lipstick

Hello!

I made a cute little snow puppy this morning! I love the snow and couldn't resist running out into my garden first thing! :)

Today I am reviewing the Gosh Velvet Touch Lipstick in Shocking Coral. This is a favourite of mine, I am actually on my second and love to wear it any time of the year especially in the Summer. It's a definite holiday make up bag essential!

The lipstick I find quite thick and creamy but at the same time a little drying, so I always add a little w7 kiss me to my lips before applying. It stays on for a few hours before needing to be touched up. I have a pale complexion and this suits my skin tone and I am always complimented when I wear it. It also suits a tan/bronzed skin which is why this is a favourite of mine all year round.
This product is available from Superdrug for £6.49 and also on Ebay.

Let me know what your year round favourite lipstick is :)
